This picture here tells a hilarious story. My sweet wife was making a delicious cottage cheese Alfredo sauce. Sadly, I came in and messed it up. I don’t know what I did, but I added the delightful sauce she had created, and I must have added too much salt, or maybe I didn’t clean the pan well enough before adding the sauce, but needless to say, it was disgusting after I touched it.

So, with that in mind, we decided to eat out. Since the noodles had already been cooked, we chose to try an experiment that my wife saw on Facebook. You take your noodles and cook them with purple onion. Then, once you add vinegar, they should turn bright blue. As you can see from the picture, they turned a very nasty shade of gray. So, we had chicken nuggets and Panda Express. Homeschooling and doing experiments at home can be so much fun.

I hope that my kids remember us doing fun experiments, and these pictures attest to that. So next time you want to pull your hair out because your son keeps mixing your laundry detergent with your shampoo, it just means he has the most enormous imagination ever. Take the time to do experiments that can help me them learn and grow. That's what we are trying to do with homeschooling.
